Legislation and Regulations

YOU KNOW THEY (LEGISLATION AND REGULATIONS) ARE COMING> IT IS INEVITABLE. Much like food quality, television content, building codes, etc... HUD is not immune forever from common sense solutions. Automakers will inevitably be answering to the obvious results of how HUD systems can make drivers more distracted. We are truly in the Wild West stages of Head Up Display (HUD) and yes governments around the world are dropping the ball and neglecting proper studies and are being lobbied by those companies invested in the technology with half truths and outright lies. WAKE UP GOVERNMENTS OF THE WORLD. People should be forced to go through special courses and tests/redo driver's education to use any of these advanced HUD features. Allowing car companies to go ahead with investing and producing various trial run types is an outrageous hazard to public safety.

CHECK OUT THESE RULES FOR HEAD UP DISPLAY (HUD) IN AIRCRAFTS.

WAKE UP REGULATORS.!!!
MERELY GOOGLE/YAHOO/BING IMAGES OF HUD
AND SEE THE PHONY IMAGES OF HUD, WHATS BEEN DEVELOPED, AND THE OUTRAGEOUS VISIONS FOR HUD.
WAY OVERDUE TIME TO DO YOUR JOBS REGULATORS!
The first image when one Googles "HeadsUp Display".

You have to be completely idiotic to think this is not distracting and dangerous.

Phony grey windshield view (WTF) omitting the crooked HUD box reflection.

You have to be an idiot to think this is not distracting/dangerous.

I count over 5 kinds of data here. We only look for and need 1 type of data at a time and having muliple data types in a driver's windshield view is outrageous.!!!

This is a typical Head Up Screen (HUS).
YOU CANNOT EVEN SEE THE CARS IN FRONT OF THE DRIVER!

Here we have 5 types of data on the windshield with the addition of traffic signs.

Here there is 8 types of data on a Head up Screen (HUS). We only look for and need 1 type of data at a time and having muliple data types in a driver's windshield view is outrageous.!!!

Yes .. that is actually a picture of someone to the right. Unbelievable!!!. As if the driver needs to see a picture of the person who is the incoming call. WAKE UP REGULATORS!!!!

ONCE AGAIN, WHERE IS THE CROOKED HUD BOX REFLECTION IN WINDSHIELD!!!

Here you have a Heads Up Screen (HUS) and the speedometer directly under the screen. Once again, the speedometer was put where it has been put for a reason - it is easy to see how fast you are driving. This is a picture of redundant unnecessary nonsense.
ONCE AGAIN, A DRIVER ONLY LOOKS FOR 1 TYPE OF DATA AT A GIVEN TIME AND HAVING MULTIPLE DATA CONSTANTLY IN ONE'S FIELD OF VIEW IS AN OBVIOUS DISTRACTION.

Yes this is another crazy image of what is going on with HUD.

Once again, why the need for another speedomter directly above the speedomter that is easily viewed.

WHERE IS THE CROOKED HUD BOX REFLECTION ON THE WINDSHIELD???!!!

 Picture used on BMW's Website!!!
FABRICATED GREY BACKBROUND. A CORRUPT PICTURE. COMPLETELY ILLEGAL REPRESENTATION OF HUD.
THIS FALSE ADVERTISNG WILL NOT CONTINUE!

HEY BMW-
WHERE IS THE CROOKED HUD BOX RELFECTION UPON THE WINDSHIELD!!!!!

IS THERE EVIDENCE OF OTHER VARIOUS TYPES OF COVER UPS???
